MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

The Medical Sales Mentorship Program is a structured, short-term mentorship initiative designed to prepare aspiring medical sales professionals for successful entry into the healthcare sales industry. The program connects participants with experienced medical sales professionals who provide guidance, industry insight, and practical skill development.


Through one-on-one mentorship, real-world case discussions, and career preparation activities, participants gain a clear understanding of medical sales roles, expectations, career pathways & real time sales experience.

  • Develop foundational sales and communication skills specific to healthcare
  • Build understanding of ethical and compliant selling practices
  • Enhance professional confidence and career readiness
  • Support informed career decision-making and job preparation

Who Should Apply

Mentees

  • Students or early-career professionals interested in medical sales
  • Individuals from science, healthcare, business, or related backgrounds
  • Motivated learners seeking industry exposure and professional guidance

Mentors

  • Experienced medical sales professionals (pharma, devices, diagnostics, biotech)
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of industry experience
  • Willingness to coach, share insights, and support professional growth

Program Structure

  • Duration: 12 month minimum program
  • Format: One-on-one mentorship (virtual or in-person)
  • Meeting Frequency: 1 session every 2–4 weeks
  • Optional activities: Role-plays, case studies, resume reviews, and mock interviews

Her academic background in human physiology, combined with the discipline and resilience gained through athletics, has given her a strong foundation for entering the medical and biotech sales industry.

With a growing passion for healthcare innovation, Jocelyn is focused on bridging her scientific knowledge with real-world clinical impact. She is skilled at communicating complex concepts clearly, building trust with providers, and approaching challenges with a strong work ethic and a team-first mindset. The transferable skills of leadership, adaptability, and performance under pressure, directly support her transition into the fast-paced world of medical device sales.

As she steps into the next phase of her career, Jocelyn is eager to bring her competitive drive, curiosity, and people-centered approach to a company where she can create meaningful value.
